We are a progressive, innovative practice that brings together professionals from all around the world and incorporates their experiences to develop a well-rounded team fostering supportive relationships with their clients and families through providing a multi-disciplinary approach.

As such we are looking for a speech therapist with strong business acumen who has the ability to drive a division within a practice and work collaboratively within the team so that we can offer speech therapy as a separate service as well as offer an in-house multi-disciplinary approach to our ABA based intervention programs.

Reporting to the MD and working closely with our ABA Clinical Manager, you will be a leader who is wanting to contribute professionally and take charge of delivering quality Speech Therapy services within a collaborative ABA environment.

This role is really varied and your typical would include some of the following on any given day….

  • Assessing children using various assessment tools
  • Create individualised outcome focused goals
  • Support an individual learner in a 1:1 basis and /or within a group setting
  • Working in collaborative partnership with parents and other professionals to facilitate the building of skills for our learners
  • Participate in clinical team meetings (including some training opportunities)
  • Delivery of training workshops on a range of topics related to ASD
  • Training of Speech Graduates as well as junior / senior behavioural therapists working with clients of ABAlink

Educational

  • Minimum 3-5 years paediatric Speech Pathology experience with any of these accreditations globally
  • Australia SPA registration
  • American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) –
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence- Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC) – Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (S-LP(C))
  • Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists (RCSLT) – Certified Member (Cert MRCSLT)
  • Irish Association of Speech and Language Therapists (IASLT) – Full Member
  • New Zealand Speech-Language Therapists’ Association (NZSTA) – Full Member

Skills and Experience required

  • The ability to create Individualized goals
  • Writing and submitting reports to funding agencies
  • Have experience working with children with a disability or autism
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing Professional Development
